Women's Auxillary Since the start of the Monkey Island Fire Department in 1989, we have had an active Women’s Auxiliary, putting on fund raisers, and contributing money for special projects, equipment, and everyday operating expenses.

 From a start of as little as $1000/ year, to our present of at least $10,000/year, the Women’s Auxiliary has been there to back up our Fire Department in any way we can.

 We put on many different activities each year, and they are looked forward to by the community as a place to get good food, have a good time, and visit with our neighbors.

We welcome all women who would like to join us and work for the good of the Island and the Fire Department. We meet the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the Firehouse, unless it is a holiday. For information, please call the firehouse, and a member of the board will return your call as soon as possible.
